Dr Rishi Narasimhan is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. Rishi is an Australian Army Officer and works as an orthopaedic trauma and limb expert with the Australian Defence Force. His surgical training was done through the Newcastle NSW training network mostly at the John Hunter Hospital.
He completed two AOA accredited fellowships, the first in Limb Reconstruction and Orthopaedic Trauma with Prof Tetsworth at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. The second at Princess Alexandra Hospital with Prof Cut-Bush, in Arthroscopic Latarjet procedure, primary and revision shoulder replacements and tendon transfers for irreparable cuff defects.
Rishi also has expertise in management of complex trauma including ballistic injuries, non-unions, infections and deformities.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA)
