Associate Professor Roderic Warren graduated from the University of Melbourne with first class honours in both medicine and surgery and was awarded the Jamieson Prize for Medicine and the Stirling Prize for Surgery.
He completed his cardiology training at Royal Melbourne Hospital and was awarded an NHMRC Scholarship to complete his PhD at the Baker Institute which focused on cholesterol research. He then completed further training in advanced angioplasty at the Greuntzig Angioplasty Centre at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Roderic Warren is part of the professional cardiology team at Healthscope and is available to see patients at John Fawkner Private Hospital and Melbourne Private Hospital.
Associate Professor Warren has been integral in developing acute infarct services at both Royal Melbourne and Melbourne Private Hospitals.
Additionally, he provides interventional cardiology services to country centres and interstate in Tasmania.
He has trained many interventional cardiologists, both locally and internationally.
Associate Professor Warren has a particular clinical interest in:
