Dr Ryan McConnell

Dr Ryan McConnell is an endovascular specialist and interventional neuroradiologist (INR). After graduating from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor Surgery, Dr McConnell completed specialty training in radiology at Royal North Shore Hospital. He subsequently completed fellowship training in interventional radiology and a further two year fellowship in neurointervention obtaining CCINR accreditation.

Dr McConnell has extensive endovascular experience with special interests in cerebral aneurysm treatment, arteriovenous malformation and dural arteriovenous fistula embolisation, carotid artery stenting, intracranial stenting, peripheral vascular malformations and varicose vein treatment.

Dr McConnell’s role in patient management includes pre-procedural consultation, in hospital clinical care, and short and long term clinical follow-up. He collaborates closely with clinical colleagues to ensure patients receive optimal care.
