Dr Sanjeev Golani is a Colorectal and General surgeon specialising in laparoscopic procedures. He is member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) and a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).

Dr Golani operates at Norwest Private Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAN), the Mater Hospital and has a public appointment at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.

Dr Golani has completed over 20 years in surgery. He has extensive experience with varied surgical techniques in Colorectal and General Surgery. He has peer reviewed research published in several Surgical Journals.

As part of his Colorectal training Dr Golani was appointed as the prestigious Senior Colorectal Fellow at Royal Bristol Infirmary, UK where he was trained in the latest Colorectal Surgical techniques, like Rectal Prolapse surgery.

Additionally, Dr Golani is accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) in performing Colonoscopies and Gastroscopies.

Endoscopy – Trained in advanced endoscopic skills and removal of large polyps endoscopically. Accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) to perform endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Pelvic floor disease – Well trained in inserting Sacral Nerve Stimulators for patients with faecal incontinence and routinely performs laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy for rectal prolapse.
Inflammatory bowel disease – Good knowledge and experience in managing both elective and emergency presentations of inflammatory bowel disease.
