Dr Sara Mgaieth

Dr Sara Mgaieth is a gastroenterologist and general physician with practices in Parkville and Moorabbin. Sara is a consultant gastroenterologist and general physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Melbourne Private Hospital and also teaches at the University of Melbourne through the Royal Melbourne Hospital Clinical School.

Sara completed a Bachelor’s degree at Boston University in 2000 with honours, and then studied medicine at the University of Sydney, where she graduated in 2006 with honours. She subsequently completed additional training in gastroenterology, with a fellowship in hepatology, and general medicine. Sara is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Gastroenterological Society of Australia and the European Association for the Study of the Liver. Sara is a participant in the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.
