Dr Scott Campbell opened his private practice, Brisbane Neurosurgery, in 2015 after 18 years of service in the public sector where he was the director and supervisor of neurosurgical training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

In 2000, Dr Scott Campbell became the first Australian surgeon to separate Siamese twins joined at the head, before separating a second set of twins one year later. In 2003, Dr Campbell was awarded the Centenary Medal for distinguished services to medicine. Dr Scott Campbell offers a comprehensive neurosurgical service with a particular clinical interest in spine surgery and pituitary surgery. He is an active member of the Neurosurgery Society of Australia and the Spine Society of Australia and also has extensive experience as a medico-legal expert witness with recognition as a fair and objective reporter. He is a foundation member of the medico-legal section of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a life member of the Legal Society of Queensland.

Dr Campbell completed his medical and surgical degrees at the University of Queensland in 1985 and became a Fellow of the Australian College of Surgeons in 1994 before undertaking post graduate studies in the UK at King’s College Hospital and Atkinson Morley’s Hospital in London.
