Dr Shannon Zawada is a Gynaecologist with a particular clinical interest in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology. She works at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, Canterbury Hospital, and Genea. She is a lecturer at the University of Sydney where she is involved in ongoing medical research and training of medical students in Perinatal and Women’s Health.
Shannon completed her medical training at Sydney University then completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology obtaining FRANZCOG in 2016. At Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, she undertook further advanced training in the area of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She did further training in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology at the Royal Hospital for Women with Dr Rebecca Deans. Shannon has a Masters in Human Reproduction and Human Genetics from the University of Sydney.
