Mr Shrikkanth Rangarajan

Mr Shrikkanth Rangarajan (Raj) is a Melbourne based vascular surgeon with a depth of experience and qualifications.

Raj offers treatment for all vascular pathologies, both venous and arterial. He is proficient in all the latest modalities for managing varicose veins, and has wide experience in a variety of techniques associated with minimally invasive and open surgical management of aortic and peripheral arterial pathology.

Raj is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in the field of vascular surgery and trained in Melbourne (Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospitals), Brisbane (Princess Alexandra, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals) and Auckland (Auckland City Hospital). He completed his undergraduate studies at Monash University and has a strong academic background having published a number of papers, presented at international meetings and held academic appointments at Monash University and the University of Queensland.

Raj has a military and legal background, has served on overseas operations as a member of the Australian Army and been awarded the Australian Defence Medal and the Australian Service Medal.

He completed his law degree and has worked in a health law firm, helping clients within the health industry achieve their goals.
