Dr Siamak Seresti

Dr Siamak Seresti is a Perth Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon who completed orthopaedic specialty training in Western Australia and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018. Dr Seresti has undertaken comprehensive fellowships and training in surgery for adult and paediatric spinal disorders at the following world-renowned centres:

• Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney for Adult trauma and degenerative spine disorders, paediatric scoliosis, different surgical techniques including anterior and posterior scoliosis correction as well as vertebral body tethering (VBT).

• Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades, Paris, France for Neuromuscular scoliosis correction, in particular, the French Bi-polar surgical technique for early onset and neuromuscular scoliosis with fantastic clinical results since adopted in Australia (Melbourne) in recent years.

• Polyclinique Bordeaux Nord Aquitaine, Bordeaux, France for sagittal balance in adult spinal deformity for back pain and flat back deformity as well as anterior approach to lumbar spine through ALIF, LLIF and OLIF for lumbar spine fusion or disc replacement.

• Great Ormond Street Hospital, London for complex paediatric spinal deformities utilising operative and non-operative methods. 

Dr Seresti treats all aspects of adult and paediatric spinal disorders. He takes public appointments at Perth Children’s Hospital for early onset and neuromuscular scoliosis, Royal Perth Hospital for adult trauma. Dr Seresti’s private practice is located in West Perth and he is currently operating at the Mount Hospital.
