Dr Sian Fairbank

Dr Sian Fairbank is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon providing care at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Medical Centre, Cotham and Northpark Private Hospitals and the Epworth in Melbourne. Sian’s goal is t- work with general practitioners t- optimize the health and quality of life for individuals. Sian completed her medical degree at Melbourne University and from there pursued her long-standing interest with human anatomy, working as an anatomy demonstrator for undergraduates at Melbourne and Stanford Universities before pursuing general and plastic surgery training.

Sian was awarded the FRACS in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2007 and completed additional postgraduate fellowships in microsurgery, reconstructive and hand surgery at the Institut de la Main in Paris and advanced skin cancer and head and neck surgery at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Further Visiting fellowship training was undertaken in facial nerve and ear reconstruction and cosmetic surgery in centres in Taiwan, Europe, London and the USA.
