Dr Sinan Albayati

Dr Sinan Albayati completed his medical degree at Otago University in New Zealand. He continued his surgical training in General Surgery in Australia and attained fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. He then undertook further advanced training in Colorectal Surgery at major teaching hospitals including Bankstown-Lidcombe, Westmead, and Liverpool Hospitals. He completed formal Colorectal Surgical training program run by the Australia and New Zealand Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery (ANZTBCRS) and is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ). Dr Albayati has completed a Master of Surgery (Colorectal) at the University of Sydney in 2015.

He is currently completing a PhD at UNSW assessing operative and non-operative management of rectal prolapse. Dr Albayati believes in patient empowerment through providing patients with knowledge and confidence and actively engages patients to make informed decisions about their own health care.
