Dr Sindy Vrancic

Sindy Vrancic is part of the expert orthopaedic surgery team at Healthscope.

Dr. Vrancic is a fully qualified orthopaedic surgeon and upper limb expert. She studied at Flinders University in South Australia and gained her undergraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1995. Since then she has completed a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine and in January 2008 has gained admission into the Royal Australia College Of Surgeons – Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Vrancic has also completed a Fellowship in the field of Upper Limb Surgery and has worked as a Upper Limb Surgeon in Canberra since 2009. She also delivers orthopaedic trauma services to The Canberra Hospital.

We are a specialist Orthopaedic Surgical team dealing exclusively with the treatment of the Upper Limb: the Shoulder, the Elbow, and the Hand. This includes the treatment of:

- Joint replacements (shoulder, elbow & hand)
- Joint reconstructions
- Soft tissue (tendon & ligament) repairs
- Specialist hand operations

Where surgical intervention is necessary, we operate primarily at the National Capital Private Hospital in Canberra.
