Dr Siu-Ying Kwok

Dr Siu-Ying Kwok is a consultant psychiatrist with experience working in both the public and private sectors.

Dr Kwok graduated from Monash University and holds a Masters in Psychiatry from The University of Melbourne. She completed her specialist training in psychiatry at NorthWestern Mental Health and Monash Health in Melbourne.

She provides treatment across a range of disorders in general adult psychiatry with a particular clinical interest in youth mental health, perinatal psychiatry and eating disorders. 

Dr Kwok believes in working collaboratively with carers and other healthcare providers in patients’ care. She believes treatment plans should be individualised and adapts a holistic biopsychosocial approach in patients’ care. Treatment plans are developed in collaboration, taking into account biological, psychological and lifestyle factors.

Additionally, she has training and experience utilising the Newborn Behavioural Observation (NBO) as an intervention.

Dr Kwok takes a caring and emphatic approach and is passionate in providing the highest quality psychiatric care to patients.

Dr Kwok is available to see patients aged 16 years and above, at The Melbourne Clinic.
