Dr Soak Fung Foong

Dr Soak Fung Foong is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. Dr Foong completed her medical degree at Sydney University, her Diploma in Obstetrics from the University of Otag in New Zealand. Her fellowship training includes training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Melbourne, Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in England and Liverpool Hospital in Sydney. Dr Foong returned to Sydney, Australia in 1995 and in 1996 she obtained the FRANZCOG and started her private practice. Dr Foong’s private practice aims to provide a practical, direct and holistic approach to patient care.

The practice includes general gynaecology, general gynaecology surgery including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, performing pelvic scanning, early pre-pregnancy counseling recurrent miscarriage management and shared antenatal care. Dr Foong has a particular interest in management of cervical dysplasia and she performs minor surgeries including LLETZ under local anaesthesia.
