Dr Sri Thiruvengadam

Dr Sri is a general physician and kidney specialist who trained in regional and tertiary centres in Tasmania, Western Australia & the Northern Territory. He was a clinical fellow in nephrology at the Hammersmith Hospital in London, with subspecialty experience in autoimmune aspects of kidney disease and kidney transplantation.

He provides consultative medical care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He provides care for patients with general medical problems & cardiometabolic disease (including diabetes and hypertension), acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease (including pre-dialysis workup, autoimmune disease, transplantation and peri-operative review).

He currently works as a General Physician at Royal Perth Hospital, and can provide private inpatient care at the Mount Hospital.

Dr Sri advocates for patient autonomy in the medical decision-making process and takes an empathetic and holistic approach when providing care for patients.
