Dr Stuart Hooper

Dr Stuart Hooper works with both inpatient and outpatients at The Sydney Clinic and has appointments available now. Dr Hooper is a consultant psychiatrist, Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry, addiction medicine specialist, Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians . He holds a Masters of Psychoanalytic Studies from Deakin University.

Dr Hooper completed his undergraduate training at Sydney University. He has extensive experience in treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions. Whilst utilising evidence based practices he works collaboratively with patients tailoring treatments to their individual, unique characteristics.

Treatment modalities include pharmacological and psychotherapeutic (CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic and evidence based life style and nutritional).
