Dr Subash Heraganahally

Subash completed basic and advanced training in Respiratory & Sleep Medicine at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide. 

He completed his basic Medical Degree overseas (MBBS, MD) and worked for several years as a clinician and senior lecturer at one of the largest teaching tertiary care Christian Mission Hospitals in India.

He moved to Darwin in 2011 and established a state-of-the-art sleep study lab and lung function testing unit at the Darwin Private hospital to cater for both adults and children, including public patients from RDH.

He has vast experience in managing patients with simple and complex General Medical and Respiratory & Sleep disorders providing high quality service with honesty, passion, dedication and integrity. He is also interested in interstitial lung disease, pleural disease, asthma, COPD & emphysema and Indigenous health.

He has a passion for teaching medical graduates, currently lectures at the NT Medical School, Charles Darwin University/Royal Darwin Hospital and has been awarded Lecturer status by the Faculty of health sciences, at Flinders University in Adelaide.
