Dr Sugitha Seneviratne

Dr Sugitha Seneviratne is an Australian trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons since 2003.

Dr Seneviratne has performed many thousands of plastic and reconstructive procedures including microsurgery and she has extensive experience in cosmetic plastic surgery.

Since 2003, Dr Seneviratne has worked as a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, is an Honorary Clinical Fellow, Department of Surgery at The University of Melbourne, Royal Melbourne Hospital and in 2015 was appointed to the position of Executive Director of Clinical Governance (part time). Dr Seneviratne is the head of the Plastic, Maxillo-facial and Hand Surgery at The Northern Hospital.

She co-founded Northern Plastic Surgery in 2007, was granted the privilege of the prestigious private practice of Professor Donald Marshall in Kew in 2008, and in 2015 she co-founded NorthEast Plastic Surgery.
