Dr Surya Krishnan is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Prince of Wales Private Hospital with a particular interest in low and high risk obstetrics and high risk obstetric surgery. Dr Krishnan graduated from University of New South Wales and received his further qualification FRANZCOG.

He spent a significant amount of time undergoing further training in complex pelvic endoscopic surgery (endogynaecology) in USA, France, and in Sydney. He was also a visiting fellow to an advanced endoscopic cancer centre in India undergoing further training in endoscopic oncology pelvic surgery. Dr Krishnan has gained much experience in caring for women with multiple pregnancies, advanced maternal age, underlying medical conditions and also post IVF pregnancies.

In addition to general Gynaecology, Dr Krishnan performs complex endoscopic reproductive surgery for infertility, endometriosis, fibroids and chronic pelvic pain. He also performs advanced laparoscopic and vaginal surgeries for prolapse, incontinence and hysterectomies. When not working, his interest includes chasing after his two young children and teaching them to ride the scooter.
