Dr Tamara Harris

Born in Austria and finished Medical School at the University of Vienna. She did her Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Royal North Shore Hospital and several other city and country NSW hospitals. Tamara has a special interest in pelvic floor surgery and volunteered as part of a charity mission to perform much needed pelvic floor surgery in Dhulikhel Hospital, Nepal. Tamara also has strong experience and interest in Colposcopy, management of abnormal CSTs, menstrual problems, contraception, ovarian cysts, perimenopause and menopause management as well as urinary incontinence.

Tamara is committed to teaching and mentoring since her migration to Australia in 2004. She is a training supervisor for the RANZCOG trainees and has joined the University of Sydney as a clinical lecturer. Tamara lives on the Northern Beaches with her Australian husband and their 2 school age children. Dr Tamara Harris is fluent in both English and German for consultations.
