Mr TC Nguyen

Mr Thang Chien (TC) Nguyen graduated Dux from Kealba High School in Western Victoria in 1996.  After attending Melbourne University and matriculating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), he initially trained at The Austin & Repatriation Medical Centre until achieving his FRACS in General Surgery in 2006.  During this period he also studied for the Graduate Diploma in Biostatistics and Epidemiology in 2002.

His post-Fellowship training for the next three years was in colorectal surgery, including with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia & New Zealand (CSSANZ) in various local and overseas positions, in the areas of advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic/colonoscopic surgery, faecal incontinence, functional bowel disorders, recurrent and complex colorectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, and transanal endoscopic surgery.
