Prof Thierry Vancaillie

Clinical Professor Thierry Vancaillie is a Gynaecologist and Pain Medicine Specialist at Prince of Wales Private Hospital.

Having graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven, Belgium in 1980, Dr. Vancaillie completed his O&G residency in Bremen, Germany in 1985. Thereafter, he served on the faculty of the Department of Ob/Gyn at the University of Texas Health Science Centre, San Antonio, Texas. In 1997, he joined the Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

In 2010, Dr. Vancaillie was granted fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine.

Clinical Professor Thierry Vancaillie is a founding director of the Women’s Health and Research institute of Australia.
