Dr Thomas Pennington

Dr Thomas Pennington is a General Surgeon with advanced training in melanoma, skin and soft tissue oncology, and endocrine surgery. He is affiliated with Melanoma Institute Australia and is a member of their Clinical Review Committee. Dr Pennington is based at Northern Beaches Hospital and participates in several on call rosters and performs many general surgical procedures including laparoscopic hernia, gallbladder and bowel surgery.

He is actively involved in the training of junior doctors and surgical registrars, as Term Supervisor for Surgery Team D at NBH. Dr Pennington’s research interests focus on improving outcomes for patients with high risk and advanced melanoma, and he is an active investigator on a number of clinical trials.
