Dr Tin Nguyen

Dr Tin Nguyen completed his Gastroenterology training at The Alfred and St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. During this time, he was exposed to a wide spectrum of gastroenterological conditions and endoscopic procedures. Subsequently, Dr Tin Nguyen was awarded a Gastroenterological Society of Australia research scholarship, and completed a two year postgraduate hepatology fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital and the prestigious Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory.

He has numerous publications to his name, including original articles, reviews editorials, and book chapters. Dr Tin Nguyen continues to maintain a broad range of interests in all areas of Gastroenterology including endoscopy, viral hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disorders.

He is a Staff Gastroenterologist at The Northern Hospital (Epping). Additionally he has private rooms in Bundoora and Doreen. Providing service to the community is a priority for Dr Tin Nguyen and he has been a past Vice President of the Australian Vietnamese Health Professionals Society of Victoria.

Dr Tin Nguyen is a compassionate, meticulous and competent Gastroenterologist who aims to provide high quality patient care, and also to empower patients regarding their medical condition.
