Dr Vered Schildkraut

Vered is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a member of the Gastroenterology Society of Australia and accredited to perform paediatric endoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastroenterological endoscopy.

Vered completed her general paediatric training in Israel (2001) and in Australia (FRACP, 2008). She has completed the training program in paediatric gastroenterology at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s.

Vered holds joint appointments as a Senior Staff Specialist in the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She performs endoscopic procedures at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and is skilled in capsule endoscopy.

Vered maintains a busy clinical practice and continues to help infants, children and adolescents with gastrointestinal and nutritional problems, including constipation, coeliac disease, functional gut disorders and inflammatory bowel disease.
