Dr Victoria Pechey

Dr Victoria Pechey graduated from the UNSW medical school with honours. She undertook prevocational and physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital. She has completed dual laboratory and clinical Haematology training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia. She has done additional training in the UK and then worked as a consultant haematologist there. She completed a fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation at Royal North Shore Hospital and since then has worked as a Staff Specialist at Royal North Shore Hospital as well as a VMO at Northern Beaches Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital.

The main focus of her career is her clinical work and education. She has a broad interest in general haematology with a focus on malignant haematology, but also benign haematology, thrombosis and bleeding disorders and pregnancy related haematological issues.
