Dr Vinay Srinivasa

Dr Vinay Srinivasa has specialist training in both Adult General Medicine and Nephrology. His fellowship was conferred with the Royal Australasian college of physicians in 2019.

Born in the UK, Vinay spent his early childhood in Papua New Guinea and migrated with his family to Australia, in 1991.

Vinay, undertook his undergraduate medicine degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, graduating in 2007. He returned to Australia in 2008, completing his basic physician training and advanced training in General Medicine at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Vinay completed his renal training in both Australia and the UK. He has worked at the Townsville Hospital, Toowoomba Hospital and the Royal London Hospital in London, UK. With strong core values and professional values, Vinay provides a patient-centred approach and is passionate about the care of his patients. He is a highly effective and quality focused medical professional.

He has strong clinical and communication skills, through his practice in a diverse range of clinical environments. He is also keen on the education and training of young doctors, having served on the education committees for medical registrars, undergoing their post-graduate clinical examinations. He has also been involved in teaching undergraduate medical students during their hospital attachments.
