Dr Vipul Aggarwal

Dr Vipul Aggarwal trained in general gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy at Sydney (Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St George Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital). As consultant gastroenterologist, he secured a prestigious Fellowship in Advanced Interventional Endoscopy in North Carolina, USA.

A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (2010), Dr Aggarwal is a member of Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and the American Society of Gastroenterological Endoscopy (ASGE).

In 2013 Dr Aggarwal relocated to Canberra to set up and expand the interventional endoscopy services in the ACT region. He joined Canberra Hospital and began practice with Professor Mark Bassett at Canberra Gastroenterology.

In February 2016, Dr Aggarwal took over as the Director of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit at Canberra Hospital. He is an interventional endoscopist in the ACT Region. His particular clinical interests include prevention, early detection and treatment of all gastrointestinal and pancreato-biliary cancers.

Dr Aggarwal consults at Deakin and Bruce. He performs the following endoscopic procedures at Brindabella endoscopy centre, Calvary Private Hospital, ACT endoscopy and at National Capital Hospital.
