Dr. Yuan Cheng is a general and bariatric surgeon who is operating at Knox and Holmesglen Private Hospitals. Yuan’s particular area of interest lies in bariatric (obesity) surgery.
Yuan obtained his fellowship as a General Surgeon in 2015. He was the inaugural fellow of Bariatric Surgery at Box Hill Hospital.
He completed overseas fellowship training in Belgium with Dr B. Dillemans with a particular focus in Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and complex revision bariatric surgeries.
Yuan was appointed as a general and bariatric surgeon at Box Hill Hospital since 2016. For private patients, Yuan consults from Richmond and Box Hill.
