Dr Alissa Tenney

Alissa is a General Paediatrician who grew up in a large family in North Western New South Wales. She completed her medical training at the University of New South Wales in Sydney and moved to Newcastle to complete her paediatric training. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (paediatrics).

Alissa has worked in Paediatrics at The John Hunter Hospital as well as The Maitland Hospital and Port Macquarie Base Hospital. She enjoys meeting children of all ages with a wide range of medical and developmental concerns along with their families. In addition to her private practice, Alissa participates in the on-call roster for neonatology at The Newcastle Private Hospital. Alissa has two, very energetic young children.
