Dr Anjali Dhawan

Dr Anjali Dhawan is a neonatologist and paediatrician, with clinical experience providing care to newborns and their families for over a decade.

After paediatric training from Sydney Children’s Hospital Anjali completed her advanced training and fellowship in neonatology from Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick and Royal North Shore Hospital.

Dr Dhawan focusses on the care of premature babies as well as babies with low birth weight or other problems, including those that occur post-surgically. Her research interests are looking at the long term developmental outcomes of these high risk neonates.

She has expertise in performing formal Bayley Scales III development assessments and providing early intervention follow up. She works closely with parents to provide the best evidence based care possible for their little ones.
