Dr David Tran

Dr David Tran is a locally trained General Paediatrician who is interested in looking after the health and well being of children of all ages. He graduated from Melbourne University with an MBBS and B.Med Sci degree.

He has done research in the field of gene therapy focusing on Muscular Dystrophy, and more recently on Childhood Immunisations with publication and presentations on the adverse events following the Influenza Vaccine in 2009. David did his Paediatric training through the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

He has a particular interest in Neonatal and Perinatal medicine, Allergies and Asthma and Paediatric Emergency. He also sees children with developmental and behavioural concerns. David consults at Northpark but also has an allergy clinic at the Royal Children’s Hospital. He has current public appointments at The Northern Hospital and the Austin Hospital Emergency Department department.
