Dr Clementine David

Dr Clementine David is the first dedicated paediatric immunologist and allergist to consult at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. She takes a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to diagnosis and management. As a mother of two children with allergies, she brings together specialist expertise and practical lived experience to empower and educate families.

Dr Clementine completed her specialist training at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead — two of Australia’s premier tertiary paediatric centres providing care for children with the most complex and specialised medical needs. She is actively involved in research and education, has published widely in her field, presented at national conferences, and has held academic appointments at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney.

Outside of medicine, Dr Clementine enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and eating gelato.

Dr Clementine has a special interest in food allergies, FPIAP, FPIES, eczema, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and asthma. She is also proficient in the management of drug and insect allergies, urticaria (hives), eosinophilic oesophagitis, suspected immunodeficiency, and periodic fever syndromes.
