Dr Sebastianus Kwon is an Oesophago-Gastric and ​General Surgeon. He is a graduate of the University of NSW and obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009. He then undertook post-fellowship training at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle and St George Hospital, Sydney, before travelling to the Gastric Cancer Unit at Seoul National University Hospital, Korea in 2012 and the Northern Oesophago-Gastric Cancer Unit in Newcastle, UK in 2013 as a part of ANZGOSA training program.

After returning to Australia in 2014, Dr Kwon was appointed as a General and Oesophago-Gastric surgeon at John Hunter Hospital, NSW.

Dr Kwon is an accredited member of the Australia & New Zealand Gastric & Oesophageal Surgery Association, having gained extensive advanced training in the management of benign and malignant oesophago-gastric conditions, both in Australia and abroad.
